The Altec Valencia 846A is a vintage classic that’s as much a piece of audio history as it is a high-performance loudspeaker. Introduced in the 1960s and aimed at audiophiles and music enthusiasts, the Valencia combines Altec’s legendary horn-loaded technology with a large-format design that delivers high efficiency, effortless dynamics, and a sound that’s full of character and life. Built to bring the Altec Voice of the Theater performance into the home, the 846A has a cult following among fans of vintage horn-loaded speakers.

This is a beautifully high-end restoration. You're not likely to hear another pair of Valencias look and sound this good.

We've been waiting on replacement grilles to be produced. They are $400 if you'd like them, but we like the way they look naked.
