Vintage / JBL C38 Baron 001 // 2 Way MCM Horn Speakers / Museum Condition
JBLs mid-century modern dream speaker. This consecutive serial numbered, 16ohm pair of C38s include the 130A woofer, 175 compression driver with the potato masher horn, and N1200 crossovers (recapped of course). The cabinets have been completely sanded out and refinished to as close to showroom as possible for a nearly seventy year old speaker. The grilles have been reclothed in a period correct fabric that has a little pop of JBL blue in it. You won't find another pair in better condition. These are truly museum quality. OH! -- and they just happen to sound pretty damn great.
