Marantz Model 9 monoblocks are the kind of amplifiers that make you question whether you really need food, electricity, or a roof over your head. Introduced in 1961, these amps are legendary not just for their lush, dynamic, and holographic sound, but for their ability to empty bank accounts faster than you can say "holy grail". Still, if you're going to drain your savings on audio gear, the Model 9 is most certainly worth the sacrifice.
